Review for VeggieTales Every Day with God 365 Daily Devos for Girls.
This is a fun new devotional from the makers of VeggieTales. Just like all the movies and other materials, this will certainly not disappoint.
Each day has one adorable VeggieTale character (this is actually how my daughter picks which devotion she wants to read). At the top of the page is a topic. Followed by a Bible verse and a short, fun devotion. The devotion would be easy to read for younger readers and is easy enough to understand for the younger child.
Devotion recommended for ages 4-7 years of age.
Each devo has a thought of the day which helps summarize the devotion and put it into an actionable thought. It also ends with a prayer for the day.
There are two different devotionals to choose from; a girl’s edition and a boy’s edition.
If you like VeggieTales, you are sure to like this devotional. What I love about it, although it is fun in the character and voice of the devotion, it addresses real life issues. Things kids and parents alike can relate to. Topics that need addressed in the every day in a way that opens up family discussion in a way kids can relate to.
There are two different editions, although, I think most topics can go either way.
We are really enjoying this as an added feature “for the girls” to our family devotion time. I would recommend this to any family looking for a little more Jesus in their day.
